How to install your wallpaper

Learn how to install your tapestry with these simple steps.

It is important to mention that the instructions are the same for the 3 types of materials, except for vinyl, which already has its own adhesive.

3. Bucket with water
4. Glue
5. Rule

1. Prepare your wall

Make sure your wall is clean and smooth. If there are holes, fill them and sand the surface if necessary.

Remove any old wallpaper and repaint the wall if necessary.

If possible, paint the wall in a color similar to the wallpaper background for a smooth transition.

2. Measurement and cutting

Measure the height of the wall and add a few extra inches to make sure you have enough tapestry.

Unroll the tapestry and cut it to fit the height of your wall. Make sure you cut straight and take into account the pattern if there is one.

Once you have the cuts of the roll, arrange them in a large space which allows you to square each strip with the pattern of the following sequence.

3. Prepare the adhesive

Consult the manufacturer's instructions for preparing the adhesive.

We suggest using powder adhesive, which is diluted in a bucket with water, stirring until it has a texture () depending on the number of meters to be placed, the amount of adhesive to be prepared.

4. Apply the adhesive

Use the brush to apply an even layer of adhesive either on your wall or directly on the tapestry.

Make sure to cover the entire area where the tapestry will be placed.

5. Wallpaper placement

Start from a corner or next to a window. Place the first strip of tapestry in the desired position, making sure it is straight and aligned correctly.

Smooth the tapestry from the center to the edges with the help of the spatula to eliminate air bubbles and wrinkles.

6. Continue with the next strips

Repeat the process to place the remaining tapestry strips, making sure the patterns match correctly and the strips are properly aligned.

If necessary, trim excess tapestry at the top and bottom edges to get a perfect fit.

7. Finishing and cleaning

Once you have placed all the strips, check that they are well adhered and smooth.

Use a damp sponge to clean any excess adhesive from the wallpaper and baseboards.
